0.125 (1/8) Teaspoon of OceanSolution™ mixed in 4 Liters of fresh Water is the established ratio to fertilize plants using a watering can, once every 15 days. The plant/s need not be untouched with the (water mixture) watering, because the plants and soil will "die" shortly in a few days, weeks or months if watered untouched via directly to the soil surrounding the plant/s which the plant/s roots are present in. It is not a hypertonic solution, such as in hydroponics. Hypertonic Solution: A hypertonic solution is one which has a higher solute concentration than another solution. An example of a hypertonic solution is the interior of a red blood cell compared with the solute concentration of fresh water.
So, OceanSolution™ applied diluted as such to bare soil is life giving to the soil (only.)

Slug repellent, organic. Use it once every 10 days. On dry plants, or with rain. Water later. Also, use on newly sown seeds.
Slug Repellent, Organic recipe:
2 Teaspoon of organic Cayenne Powder 30,000 IU
1 1/2 Tablespoon of organic Garlic Powder (or Seaweed Powder?*) (or Coffee Powder?*)
1 1/2 Tablespoon of organic Sunflower Oil (or Neem Oil?*)
1 Tablespoon of organic Ecover Zero (or Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds?*), Biodegradable
Dish Liquid Soap
8 Drops of Rosemary Essential Oil or one essential oil of your choice from: Pine;
Orange; Garlic; Cedarwood; Hyssop
Add 4 Liters of fresh cold Water
Mix
Use a Tiny Watering Can Above Plants or Newly Sown Seeds
This slug repellent, organic, is to repel garden slug pests that you are sure are already present in your garden, even though you may not see them right away. Slugs are an important part of a forest ecosystem.
Do not breath, drink or consume this!
Wash harvests to partake of food. A few drops of Rice Vinegar can be used in the water that washes to help clean especially from slugs. Wash three times, using the rice vinegar once. A salad spinner can help dry.
To help store a harvest in a refrigerator crisper drawer: dampen with cold water two paper towels and place them in a plastic food storage bag, insert a clean mostly dry harvest portion, then add two more cold damp paper towels on top of the harvest in the bag, close the bag, then store.
* I have not tried these, yet. (Seaweed can be harvested fresh (wildcrafted) to use around a plant to prevent slugs and help fertilize it.)

Plants to Keep to Prevent or Help Eliminate Pests, Ants, Bedbugs, Spiders, Mice, and Insects:
1. Lavender
Spiders and Ants loath the smell of Lavender.
Place Tied Bouquets near strategic areas of your home.
Or plant them in sunlit areas of your garden to keep the area pest free.
2. Peppermint (Water and Peppermint) (Peppermint Oil)
Mice and Bugs/Insects don’t like the smell of Mint.
Apply a Small Quantity of Peppermint Oil to areas where Insects and Mice might reach, for example furniture, clothes, and even your skin.
You can also place Cotton [Wads] soaked in a Few Drops of Peppermint Oil in the corner of your room or other strategic areas.
3. Rosemary (Water and Rosemary) (Boil Fresh Rosemary in Water, let it sit overnight, then add to a Spray Bottle)
Insect and Bedbug Repellent.
4. Bay Leaves
A Natural Insect Repellent when you sprinkle Dried Bay Leaves around your house; the
Advantage is there are no toxins involved and they are safe (to be used in homes that have pets and children present).
5. Thyme Oil (The Essential Oil of Thyme)
90% protection rate against Mosquito and Insect Bites.
And in case of camping, putting Some Amount of Fresh Thyme in a camp fire can provide protection for up to 2 Hours.
6. Basil
You can purchase an insect repellant or spray using Fresh Basil, so that your summer fun is not disturbed by pesky Insects.
A homemade insect repellent calls for a small quantity of Vodka which is used as a carrier; mix Some Vodka with a Liquid Obtained from The Basil and shake gently.
The Mixture can be sprayed on the skin or clothes to repel those Insects that trouble you.
7. Eucalyptus
Mice cannot withstand strong odors, this makes Eucalyptus Oil a good oil to keep them away.
Put Eucalyptus Oil near mice droppings, or use Eucalyptus Oil in a diffuser.
8. Catnip
There are essential oils in Catnip plants which have the ability to repel Termites and Bedbugs.
Catnip growing, is repulsive to Termites, Ants, and Mosquitoes. The plant contains
Nepetalactone, a Terpene that has proven to be effective at fending off Insects.
9. Lemongrass
Citronella is found in Lemongrass, as natural oil. It has the ability to keep Ants, Spiders, and other Insects away. Whether you’re attempting to keep away those pesky
Chironomidae insects, or blood sucking Mosquitoes, Citronella Oil can help you keep those bugs at bay.
